Da Vinci Code Tours and Breaks

The spectacular frenzy of the Da Vinci Code, Dan Brown's best selling novel released in the UK in 2004 and the movie released on 19th May 2006 has hit East Lothian too!.

Tying in with the film debut, we are offering you the chance to retrace the footsteps of (Tom Hanks) Langdon and Neveu on a tour of Rosslyn Chapel just 15 minutes away from Maitlandfield House at the border between Mid and East Lothian.

The book and movie take you on a labyrinth adventure in search of the Holy Grail - to the remotest of historic and religious landmarks in Paris, London and Scotland, concluding at Rosslyn Chapel.

Maitlandfield House, situated in the shadow of the gothic St Mary's Kirk, is in an historic setting and captures the historical, bohemian spirit of the novel - a perfect backdrop to such a thrilling tale of conspiracy.

The Da Vinci Code Tours and Breaks include:

  • 2 nights in a double / twin room
  • Full Scottish breakfast
  • A three course dinner in the Taste of Scotland Conservatory Brasserie
