The four star Maitlandfield House Hotel has had many changes over the centuries ensuring that the old and new work together in harmony.

The Ante Room 

Formally the original house dinning room is situated just along from reception on the ground floor. Today it is used as a private dining room or meeting room.

The Drawing Room

With its light panel wood and real log fire which is complemented by rich regency drapes and welcoming armchairs, this room provides a source of relaxation while you study the selection of contemporary art displayed around the room.

 

The Sixteen King's

Named after the sixteen kings that visited Haddington situated in Edinburgh and Lothians. This is really a royal suite that is always observed by the sixteen portraits of its King's. This room is complemented by having direct access to the garden. Ideal for a pre dinner drink on a good summers day.

Tyne Suite Boardroom

Is on the first floor of the original house and enjoys fantastic views over the gardens and the historic St Mary’s church. This is a purpose built suite with a hexagonal boardroom table.

The Garden

With its featured fountain are complemented by a few fruits trees and old oaks over shadowing the lawns. The herbaceous borders are always a delight in spring and summer days making this area ideal for photographs or just for sitting down with a good book.
