Maitlandfield House Hotel, Haddington, is a Georgian style period house that retains the charm and decadence of its period whilst offering the quality, service and attention expected of a modern 3 star hotel. With the heart of Scotland's capital, Edinburgh, is 16 miles away and the renown " Golf Coast"  home to courses such as Muirfield, North Berwick and Gullane, closer still. Today the house offer a varied selection of well appointed bedrooms and the public rooms can be used for private meetings, conferences or or just to enjoy sharing a coffee with friends.

The Great Hall

The Great Hall Suite The Original ballroom of the house was developed has a purpose built Conference Facility in Haddington East Lothian, Scotland.

Now established as one of the finest conference and banqueting facilities in East Lothian, The Great Hall Suite is a self contained extension built into the original ball room / dinning hall of the house providing meeting and conference facilities for up approximately 200 delegates.

With its own parking and private entrance, the Great Hall is accessed through the original gate that linked the house and the stables. It ensures privacy and seclusion for conference delegates.

The stylish, bright interior of the Garden Suite comprises an entrance lobby, spacious reception bar area / breakout room,  main conference room, seating up to 200 delegates theatre style or 180 banqueting style. The ceiling of the room was designed to incorporate three large glass lanterns that lets the day light into the room . There are various room plans and table layouts to suit your size of party or conference.

The Ante Room Icon

Anti Room Suite, the original house Dining Room is situated on the ground floor. Today it is used as a private dining room or reception room capable of accommodating 40 guest.

 

 

Drawing Room Icon

Drawing Room is a light panel wood room with real log fire which is complemented by rich regency drapes and welcoming armchairs. This room provides a source of relaxation while you study the selection of contemporary Scottish art displayed around the room or you can just indulge in the views of the hotels garden.

 

Sixteen Kings Suite Icon

Sixteen Kings named after the sixteen kings that visited Haddington in the early years. This is really a royal suite that is always observed by the sixteen portraits of its King's. This room is complemented by having direct access to the garden. Ideal for a pre dinner drink on a good summers day.

 

Tyne Suite Boardroom, in the early years of the house this room was the children play room. Situated in the first floor of the original house and enjoys fantastic views over the gardens. Today this is the boardroom with a hexagonal conference table that seats 20 delegates.

with its featured fountain are complemented by a few fruits trees and old oaks over shadowing the lawns. The herbaceous borders are always a delight in spring and summer days making this area ideal for photographs or just for sitting down with a good book or a cocktail.
