Breakfast is the most important meal of the day therefore Maitlandfield House ensures that our breakfast menu is prepared with ingredients that are locally sourced.
Breakfast service is from Monday to Friday 7.30am to 9.00am.  Weekends and Bank Holidays is from 8.00am - 9.30am

Cereals and Dried Fruits: - Selection of cereals complemented with locally sourced milk from Yester family dairy in Gifford
Fruit Salad: - prepared with a selection of seasonal and tropical fruits
Preserves: - Selection of Jams, Marmalade and Honey
Baking: - Baked Croissants, choice of medium sliced brown or white toast toasted bread
Yoghurts: - Chilled selection of fruit or plain
Chilled Juices: - Fresh orange - Apple - Cranberry - Iced Filtered water
Hot Beverages: - Breakfast blend, Herbal or Speciality Teas or Freshly brewed ground Mount Etna Coffee.

PORRIDGE cooked in the Scottish traditional way.
Hot Breakfast: - Grilled Ayrshire middle back bacon, Lothian pork sausages, Grilled tomatoes, Sautéed local Monagham mushrooms, Baked beans in tomato sauce, Scrambled free range eggs and the award winning Scottish Stornoway black pudding
Vegetarian Option: - Grilled vegetarian sausage, Grilled Monagham mushroom, Grilled tomato, Baked beans in Tomato sauce and Hen house scrambled egg.
